  1. Refs didn’t have a standard this game. Soft penalties against oilers. I think it’s okay to penalties but same standard for both. TBH KORPi is just amazing, he is the reason for LA being 2-1. Also, oilers taking penalties but oilers are getting chances, just not going in.

  2. How can oilers not take stupid penalties and control their emotions. This will be the factor winning motion.

  3. On the Kings broadcast there is no good view of the high stick. On this feed, you can sort of see the rotation of the puck change. Looks like it could have been a high stick. However, the Kings broadcast had two views from the other side of the ice that both clearly show the puck roll down Ekholm's back, that touch wiped away the high stick contact.

  4. wtf? it touches the stick, otherwise it would continue to go up, how's that high stick missed?

  5. Hats off to the Canadian broadcast. We had TNT in the U.S., which is better than ESPN, but this analysis here is top notch. I thought it was a high stick live but the replays, especially the one at 3:10 makes me uncertain, thus, the call stands.

  6. What the… just now seeing this. How is this not a high stick? Are they blind? Just look at 2:05. The Puck loses all forward momentum and comes straight down. But hey my brother got to celebrate another Kings win, so I guess it's fine. 🤣

  7. I see the arguement for this being a high stick, but since it wasn't called at the time, Toronto needs to be able to definitively overturn it with the specific angles they have. given how, if contact was actually made, it was barely glancing, they would have a hell of a time actually proving contact.

  8. Well all in all my fellow kings fans that will b the last positive call we get in this series because u know they don't want us playing the underfuckindogs like we were in 2012&2014. Wait for it

  9. kostin gets called for 2mins for interference. same exact play and time on McDavid. no call. a clear as day high stick on the last goal. you got yourself a bettman classic. only Merica team will compete for the cup. buy the refs. get your results! what are you teaching the next up and coming canadian players? you'll never win on a home soil team.

  10. Good game kings. Entering as heck, but painful officiating. Next one should be fun. Go oilers!

  11. ik a lot of people will say it hit his stick, but Toronto has all the angles and TVs to review it. Despite that they said no, so there must have been smth we didn't see. As a kings fan ill take it gkg

  12. Bad reffing is part of the sport. It happens. We get it. I’m just so sick of Oilers fans thinking the entire hockey world is engaged in a conspiracy against them. Especially considering the fact they employ a goon like Evander Kane.

They’re not angels and certainly not victims.

The Hockey press has been kissing McDavid’s and the Oilers collective butts all year. And now they’ve got a little adversity.

They lack mental toughness. It’s why they were swept last year. That and it’s a 200ft. Game.

Before you talk the talk you gotta walk the walk. The Oilers haven’t learned to walk the walk.

    GO AVS GO!!

  13. High stick 1billiob % I saw the stick move I was right their in the crowd I saw it hit the stick

  14. Good call. Love hearing all the crybaby Failer fans whining about this yet the Oilers boarded 2 King players in the 3rd and no calls were made. Suck it.

  15. So far, the officiating is subpar for both teams, which is fair, and both fans across the board complain.

  16. Everyone always has excuses as to why they lose or why it wasn’t called back 🤦‍♂️ if you can’t be 100% sure then it is a goal! You have to be 100% it hit the stick and it’s clear. Clearly it wasn’t obvious

  17. Im a detroit fan and i could care less who wins this series. Totally inconclusive. Thats why the goal was allowed. Im sitting here trying to see where it hit his stick, every angle. People keep saying look at the blade movement but that also is meaningless as long as a hand is gripping it at the other end. One angle it looks like it could have, another looks like not at all. Thats why the goal stood. I dont really see the controversy. Would i be mad if it was my team it went against? Sure, but id still understand why.

  18. Rags still the only real contender who's actually looked like one through the first few games…

  19. With all the talk about Edmonton's offence, they need to score because the team defensive play is so poor. Kudos to LA for playing the Oilers hard 5 on 5. Don't blame the refs on this game, blame the Oilers. They can't defend for beans. Why was Nurse screening Skinner? Mental. Take the friggin player! Hockey 101.

  20. So glad we have all this awesome technology and still can't make the right call. Embarrassing. But I guess Gary is more important than all the fans.
