The refereeing in the NHL almost ruins the sport. They want to cut down on cross checking, so they'll call a penalty on the really weak stuff and let go the most blatant ones. Or call a bunch on one team, then when that team does it they won't call anything. I swear some of these games are fixed to win money in Vegas betting. That's the only explanation to why it's so bad.

Why call a penalty for delay of game when the puck is thrown over the boards but no penalty for icing. Why would a delayed penalty get canceled just because of a goal? The delay was to let you finish the play and not stop it ruining your chances… Why would you hire a person who knows nothing about Hockey to be the commissioner? It's one stupidity after another.

If he saw three crosschecks, thats three minors. You dont get to commit more penalties if you've already been caught. These aren't parking tickets.

If my math is any good, 3 crosschecks * 2 minutes = 6 minute powerplay. Ref gives him 2 minutes. Reffing at it's finest.
