I think everyone, especially the Kings understood that the Oilers would come out hard at the drop of the puck. What is inexcusable to me though, is how FLAT, slow and uninspired the Kings look in the 1st period! They look completely overwhelmed and intimidated and content to sit back and defend and just try and tie it up later in the game and steal a win. This is ridiculous! I can see now being ready at puck drop in game 15 of the regular season, NOT game 1&2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs!!
I can only HOPE TMAC has the ENTIRE group ready to go from the START of the game!! Take a lead and let EDMONTON worry about mounting a comeback!!

As always, Eddie, thanks for being a voice of reason. So we either win or we lose. Do the Kings have the heart to make it? I mean, Gabe Villardi coming back was a huge boost. He really did turn out to be a great pickup. I'm sorry I didn't show more faith in him early on. Sooo, should I get out the old newspapers and scrapbooks and lean to the past or take a chance on pulling at my heart strings for this years' Kings?
Great show as always. I think your analysis of the game 2 was on point. Hopefully we can put everything together a solid 60 minutes. Also, I am really glad you got a good laugh at the playoff beard bag souvenirs. I have yet to meet anyone that thought it was a GOOD idea. Go Kings Go!!!
