    Well that game is now in the rear-view. On the plus side, we got a game on the road and are taking the Leafs back to Amalie.

    Rough game without Heddy and Cernak, but if there’s anything Coop and the boys have shown us, it’s that they adjust when they need to. Excited to see the bounce back Saturday and reminding Toronto what a championship caliber team looks like.

    Our home record is great, and taking one away was good. I think we rested player cautiously hence jeannot coming back and being able to fight pretty well. We might have exhausted some players tonight but hopefully Saturday brings heddy, essy, and churny

    I honestly don’t know what to make of this one. Just a weird game. My only worries are of Hedy/Cernak’s health. We need them back. Also hopefully that was just a 1 off bad game from Vasi.

    Alright, time to buckle down chucklefucks, let’s just hope Cerny and Heddy are good to go for game three. Here’s to hoping the Leaf “fans” forget their vacation homes and stay away from thunder alley.

    Also glad to see Jeannot beat the brakes off of someone, even if it isn’t the one who really deserves it.

    I can’t wait to go to the game Saturday. Jeannot really changed the tone of the game and lit a fire under the team and this time, the Leafs can’t try to kneecap our guys without Jeannot making them face the consequences of their own actions.

    Worst performance I’ve seen by the Big Cat in a long time. Definitely falls on the entire team, but I really hope Cernak and Hedman can get healthy ASAP.

    If there’s any silver lining, it’s seeing Colorado get handled by the Kraken a second time. Wish our guys played half as hard they have so far this game. Really miss Gourde.

    Their captain gets a hat trick, ours was fucking invisible. Not the reason we lost, but fuck if it isn’t frustrating.

    I know vasy didn’t play absolutely stellar, but if you all think this was his fault you are fucking insane. The amount of times I saw 2+ leafs jerseys sitting RIGHT FUCKING IN FRONT OF THE NET with not a single white jersey in sight was absolutely insane. Worst defensive performance I’ve seen in a while. Especially in a playoff game.

    Not really a fan of Leafs fans calling all of Tampa soft because some drunk asshole wanted to chirp our boys in the penalty box. The leafs lost all of the fights tonight and the only time they want to hit is after the whistle with blindside headshots.

    I’m sad about that ass whooping but not completely surprised after the one we laid on them.

    I’m confused about how they finally figured out how to call an interference penalty with 2.5 minutes left. That soft tripping call in the first minute of the game that led to a goal l I think set the tone for the game.

    Ultimately, I’m alright. This was only game 2. We are going to use this loss as fuel for games on home ice.

    Also, if anyone knows a specific prayer or healing dance to help us get Heddy and Cernak back by Saturday, please let me know.

    Game 3 will be huge. Hopefully Stamkos will return to the team, now that the games aren’t into Toronto. Offense looked great Tuesday and generated chances tonight… they’ll be fine. And not worried about Vasy, he really had no chance tonight.

    Already pumped for Saturday!

    Not sure why, but it seems pretty common for the Bolts to lose in embarrassing fashion in Game 2 of a series. It seems we can get scoring through our entire line up, while Toronto hasn’t scored with too much depth so far. If we can shut down the top 2 lines, or even 1 of the top two lines, I like our chances. Say prayers and Hail Marys for Jeannots hand!

    I’m extremely happy that April 18th saw a powerful win for our Lightning team. As for tonight, we know that our defense was diminished with 77 and 81 out injured. As it was on April 20th, the skating defensive play allowed some 29 shots on goal to reach #88 by the end of P2, and 37 when the lights were turned off. The weakness apparent. Vasilevskiy performed at less than half of his save average. Given that the skating defense was so reduced, I’ll offer Vasy a 50% pass, so I’ll rate him at about 70% of his average. He must do better. Our offense generated a WEAK 22 shots on goal for the Leafs net guard to handle. *He* allowed just one goal per eleven SOGs. That’s a smidge worse than *His* average, but not horrifically. So basically, all our key numbers, (in my opinion they’re *Key*) were considerable ***Off !*** Every segment of the Lightning’s work needs to be far better than what they exhibited in game two, and we *Know* that they have it in them!.
