Hey all – hopefully this doesn’t come across as overly self-promotional. This is a podcast where an old friend of mine interviews various figures in sports journalism.
People seem to appreciate the conversational tone of these.
My friend doesn’t spend much time on Reddit so I try to help him out where I can with this kind of thing. Thanks and hopefully you enjoy!

Decent interview but he doesn’t say anything different from what we see on this sub every day.
This offseason management has the choice to re-sign Backlund, Toffoli, Hanafin, Lindholm, Tanev, and Zadorov or risk losing them for nothing next offseason. I am of the opinion they should focus on re-signing Lindholm and Hanifin, trade Backlund, Toffoli, and Tanev, and risk losing Zadorov by waiting until the end of the season to sign him. You won’t get comparable players in return, but getting younger and cheaper players will help you stay relevant in the coming years.
Beyond that, I think one of Huberdeau, Coleman, Kadri, and Weegar need to be traded to lower the risk of becoming a team full of expensive, underperforming players. If they get an offer on any of these players that doesn’t involve retaining salary, I think they need to consider it.
