  1. They really had some horrible luck. Starting from game 1 when Laine went down (and he would miss time with another injury + illness). They also lost Voracek because of concussion that ended his career only after a month. Werenski also went down early for the entire season. Players like Jenner, Boquist, Bean, Danforth and Chinakhov also missen significant time. Out of the goalies, only Korpisalo played decent and ofc they traded him both to tank and get assets for him. Gavrikov was their #1 d-man for most of the season, until they traded him too. After that their #1 d was Gubdrannson. So yeah…

    Priorities for next season:
    1. Find a goaliecoach. (for Elvis, yes this is the most important)
    2. Find a new headcoach.
    3. Draft bpa at the daft.
    4. Trade/sign a top 4 left side D. (right now they only have werenski)
    5. Trade for top 6 center (Hayes is ok, Schmaltz would be better)
    6. Put effort on the young guys development. (This aplies to all guys under 23)
    7. See you at camp.

  2. Laine hasn’t been underperforming. When he has been healthy he’s been our best player (aside from Gaudreau). His issue is just staying healthy.
