Thank you guys for answering my question!! Carter becomes your 13th forward because i don't see his approving any trade his final year. Petry can stay if you put him with petterson and get a new partner for letang but id trade him. Rutta isn't worth losing a first. I think he could even replace petry if you deal him. Rutta also had the worst d-partners all year .
To me Guentzel is a realistic trade option. I would be all

Especially if it’s a bigger tougher faster guy who could be more of a net front presence and get in on the forecheck and retrieve pucks. But if it’s not worth it I would love to keep Jake here, but I think we need big changes and Guentzels value is probably only going to go down from this point.
I would keep that 1st pick. You are gonna need kids ready in 3 years when everyone is retiring. There’s Jack in the system now. I’d trade Joseph too. His 36 block shots this year to me is a red flag.
