They discuss Sheldon Keefe not naming Ilya Samsonov the starting goaltender for Game 2 and why it was a perplexing decision. Keefe deserves to be fired if they lose this series, not Dubas.
perbix has all the makings of a second or even first pairing defenseman for tampa. granted he’s a rookie, but his composure and overall skillset is incredible, definitely not a “3rd pairing / 7th dman” type of player.
ian cole definitely is a 3rd pairing guy. raddysh has 2nd pairing potential, has a lot of raw ability (particularly skating and in the o zone), but again, he’s a rookie.
Mike – you picked Leafs in 5. Any change in thinking?
At least you homers acknowledged Matthews and Marner, despite 5 pts between them, were pretty invisible through most of the game. I'll give you some credit for that.
this falls on tavares the leafs "captain" the guy is just not a leader and should be stripped of the c if they lose series.
You were looking at the wrong rule – that was for incidental, or accidental, head contact. Cernak's head was clearly targeted and he may be out for a game or two as a result, maybe longer. Bunting should get at least 2 games imo. Then Keefe should bench him. It was malicious my friend.
TB probably doesnt even want to win this series. They have played alot of hockey in the last 3 years, I know I would want the summer off 😂
Anyone remember that game against Columbus where they had a crazy 3rd period…..with all that momentum that went into game 5 and got shut out. That result is still what I expect from this team, wether they have the momentum or not, they play with as little heart as any team with talent I have ever seen
The Kampf call was because his slash was a response to a big hit. That will be called every time. Stop complaining about the officiating. The reason you didn't get a lot of calls is because you have a few players that constantly dive. Not going to get calls doing that. Good teams overcome bad officiating, bad teams blame it.
Good comments about the team not showing in the third, with Tampa finishing every single play. This is why the Leafs won't win this series. They don't do these things. I figured it may be different this time, but it isn't. They can finish a tic-tac play for the third goal, but it means nothing. If that's the only thing they can finish, they're done.
Keefe testified in favour of Frost. Anyone using that horrible situation to defend losers is not only sick in the head, but they're also really stupid.

Keefe did not do his homework. As the Lightening knows that it’s gonna be hard to beat Samsonov with regular shots. They created turmoil in front of the net as seen on first period and succeeded in scoring 3 goals

The bad calls were on both sides. Leafs fans completely ignoring the calls that went in their favor. The first two goals for the leafs shouldn't have occurred. The penalty on Cernak was so laughable. Bunting charging him and Cernak absorbs the impact of Bunting skating into him results in him getting a penalty… Yall crazy.

Fire Keefe before game 2 or after game 2. Dubas needs to pack his bags and get lost too. No excuses to crap at home like this getting beat by Tampa who embarrassed them. Team lacks heart. No killer instinct. Just totally unacceptable
If Leafs dont make conference or Cup final then Keefe, Dubas, AND Shanny all have to go.
