Ignore the “two goals” thing. After I went to bed, the AHL went and gave credit on the first goal to Höglander. Oh well, still a great two-point night for both Hoggerino and Sasson!
1st period stunk. Seems like nerves from both teams as they were searching for their perfect line matchups, opting to exchange dump-ins and icings for twenty straight minutes. Things opened up in the 2nd and 3rd though with the home team securing a big phat dub, the first in franchise history, with many more to come (hopefully)
