Tyler Bertuzzi unsportsmanlike conduct on Nick Cousins – Tough Call Recommendation

Tyler Bertuzzi is an agitator, but this takes it a touch too far.

  1. As a Florida fan- no punishment imo. Only punishment should’ve been on ice punishment for a 2 min penalty.

  2. Bert was so productive last night. Cousins was throwing cheap cross checks in his kidneys all game. Never slowed Bertuzzi even a little 😆 montour literally attempted to feed his stick to Marchand and there was no call. Massive booming hits from both teams. Was an entertaining game. Mcavoy got Board and his head crushed into the boards at one point and no call. Refs did a pretty decent job basically barely calling anything. Players policed themselves and no fights happened. Props to Lions for doing all he could. He def wants the Marchand goal back tho… and maybe the debrusk one 😂

  3. Get out of here with this bogusness, he got cross checked in the back and he just decided to hold onto the stick. Don’t want your stick be stolen? Then, don’t be sticking it in peoples backs.

  4. Not a dangerous play or act and kinda funny so I don’t see the problem we need more of these type of moments to make it interesting

  5. I can't agree with your call. If you are going to call that unsportsmanlike then you have to call all the cross-checks that are ignored in every game. In addition, you need to call Cousins for roughing for pushing Bertuzzi. I thought Bertuzzi's response was measured given the treatment he received from Cousins. Why did Cousins let go of his stick in the first place? The only reason is he was trying to get the call for holding the stick. Cousins' response was to rough Bertuzzi. Given the inconsistent and, often, poor (possibly biased) officiating, I think ignoring this incident entirely was the correct decision. Officials have much bigger issues to address.
