His monster contract single-handedly hobbled the Sharks ability to keep good players, as well as sign other good free agents. He's a great talent, and I don't blame him for getting his bag. The ownership and management are to blame for this quagmire.

EK65 is a diva who threw a fit for not being #1 on the blue line then ALL OF A SUDDEN became that Norris contender player once Burns was out of the way. I wouldn't be surprised if he sat out his injuries longer than he needed because he's a princess.
On a roster of bad contracts at the time, his was the straw that broke the camels back and destroyed this franchises hopes of being contenders for a while.
If they are smart they will trade him and a giant pirate's booty in exchange .
I don’t really follow hockey but am interested in it. Could somebody tell me how good he is in MLB/NBA/NFL terms?
The Sharks should trade Karlsson while he once again appears to be a superstar … before he has another injury and becomes mediocre again! Perhaps the Sharks can free up some cap space and get some decent draft picks and/other “rebuild” assets. It would be good for him too, to perhaps spend the rest of his career with a winning franchise that may go deep in the playoffs 🤷🏻♂️

The Sharks need to build things around Karlsson. Let him teach the young guys how he sees the ice. That will last & reap rewards long after he’s gone.
We need a goalie. We could have won at least 20 more games than we did if we had had a better goalie.
