The Leafs always win game 1 and then out in 7. They always have a hot start to the year (not this year) and out in 7 in the first series. Im a Pitty fan and everytime they start a series by blowing away the other team in game 1, they always lose the series. Im honesty thinking the Leafs are going to win this series and go deep. Remember this comment.
Overall team D is what wins hockey games, it's not flashy, it's keeping the GA down, keeping your opponents prime scoring chances to a minimum and creating your own chances without getting caught deep and giving up 2 on 1's that'll kill you. Tampa showed exactly that last night.
Only positive from last night after devils miserable performance.
Perhaps if Leafs management didn't spend so much time forcing players to wear rainbow pride symbols on their equipment they'd be a better hockey team.
