Have to start fast tonight – and preferably for the duration of the playoffs. The Rangers were 13th and 16th in first and second-period goals during the regular season, respectively. Can’t afford slow starts.

Asked my boys who they thought would open playoff scoring for the Rangers… 10yo said Chytil, 8yo said Panarin.
Things I did not really notice:
Vesey is 6 ft 3? Wth I thought he was at least 3 inches shorter…

Anyways I’m pumped for the 4th lines both teams have. We need to be physical. Devils are gonna come out blazing. I expect Tarasenko to lead us in shots, and offensive attack. Kreider at least 2 goals. Lindgren & Panarin multiple assists night. Quiet night for Fox. Trocheck multiple posts. Kane will revert back to vintage Showtime. Zibanejad big night as well, 2 goals and assists. Igor 30+ saves. Mikkola & Trouba at least 1 penalty each, and 10 hits.

Playoffs are so weird. You spend all day wishing for the day to speed up, but then when the game starts you get so nervous that you wonder why you would be so excited for putting your body into constant anxiety. Playoffs baby!
