Gotta give props to Matheson. Lot of players can’t handle the Quebec-born pressure and not only he’s doing well and having the best numbers of his career, but he truly seems to enjoy being here.
Especially when most of us (me included) didn’t really like the trade at the time with his contract and it was not really the kind of return we expected for Petry.
Let’s fucking go Matheson.
Matheson might be one of the best acquisition we have done in the past couple of years. Not only is he good on the ice, he seem to be such a nice guys that enjoy playing here. I have a feeling that as soon as Edmundson/Gallagher are gone, Matheson is getting an “A”.
If Suzuki hadn’t been named captain yet, my guess is he would have made a strong case for wearing the C
