Pro hockey is the toughest racket in sports. These athletes have to be "on" and ready at each game, every 2nd day of the year almost. I am sorry to say…but time waits for no man…
This guy is one extremely good coach and a perfect fit for Pittsburgh for a long time to come. He's a student of the game, a student of change within the game, a student of the evolving new generation of youth to the game. He's one of Pittsburgh most valuable assets. Kuddos to Mario for supporting him and advance kuddos to Crosby for the support he'll give Mike over this summer.
Ask most Penguins fans and they say their team is full of talent and the greates bunch of guys, they certainly were saying that a week before the start of the season…. so was the problem in the front office? or is the problem still on the bench and in the locker room.
Bruins fan here, lots of respect for Sully (a one-time Bruin player and coach) and from a distance, it feels like the Pens need better skills in their bottom 6 forwards and in their 3-7 defense. That's a challenge due to a need to stay under the cap and keep their star players well supported with role players. My sense is that Pittsburgh needs to develop their ability to play a 4-line 3-D-pair game in 3-zones more consistently and return to the playoffs in the 23-24 season.

As Rangers fan, tip my cap to Pens and especially Sullivan!
He’s a class act and proven winner.
Time catches up to everyone.
Sully can't accept the fact that he was a huge part of the problem bc he can adjust his thinking to the fact that the NHL is a young bucks game
