With Nashville trading Ekholm to the Edmonton Oilers, there was the cost of Tyson Barrie, a prospect (Reid Schafer), a first and a fourth round pick. Nashville also made a trade with Tampa earlier, where they moved Tanner Jeannot and got FIVE picks and a player (Cal Foote) in return!! Just shocking to see that Nashville got these returns.
Tyson Barrie was the quarter back for the oilers powerplay so it’ll be interesting to see if there is any impact after this trade.
