I honestly think Puljujarvi will have a resurgence on Carolina, he's a good player who I don't think has ever been comfortable in Edmonton. Going to Carolina he's going to a team with many Finnish players versus having ZERO Finns on Edmonton, stuff like that matters more than people think and could change the way a player comes to the rink everyday.

Someone better be fired after Puljujarvi becomes a 50+ point player, Oilers are one of the worst teams at developing prospect and nothing gets done about it they just chop it up to the player being a bust and move on from him

Another blown pick by Edmonton, a fourth overall. Should have been dealt for a Dman or Goalie when Jesse had red hot marketability. Oh well I hope a reset occurs for him on a very good team. They will go deeper than the Oilers for sure.
Hope Jesse realizes the potential he’s had all along with the Canes. He’ll be missed here in Edmonton when he does. 👍🏼

NHL is imposing the Tampa Bay Lightning Rule to stop Western Teams from Winning Stanley Cup again. They know Toronto has to win so are doing all they can to make sure its East team. I'll be glad when Maple Leafs sweep Tampa then crush Bruins if they even make it out of first round. That will be revenge for Reimer meltdown with 3 goal lead hehe :).

I think Jesses biggest issue was confidence. We saw flashes of potential. It must have been so hard playing with trade rumours constantly swirling around him. I hope he has some success in Carolina, he seems like such a genuine guy

Signing Walman to that extension was the best thing the Wings have done over the last 48 hours…..including tonight's ass-whippin' put on them by the Sens. In my opinion, the Wings still need a couple of meat-eaters on the blueline and maybe a forward or two that enjoys their recommended daily allowance of punching.

I heard Puljujärvi tried to escape Edmonton many times over the years, but they always caught up with him and brought him back. For awhile he played in Finland under the name of Matti Meikäläinen, but they still found him and dragged him back Edmonton.
Considering Puljujarvi was about to be put on waivers, ANY return is decent.
I like back to back same team games…especially at this time of the year!

Puljujärvi-Aho-Teräväinen MIGHT be amazing line for Canes. Other option is that Teräväinen – Kotkaniemi – Puljujärvi in the same line and Aho is in the first line with svech. Dallas and and Canes are like Finnish mafias, there is like 12 players total in those teams.
Puljujarvi to the Canes has been such an obvious move for so long. The only thing surprising is how look it took to finally happen. He'll be great in our bottom 6, I think he maybe replaces Jesper Fast on the third line and Fast moves down to the 4th. But we'll see.
The Hurricanes just got Shayne Gostisbehere for a 3rd in 2026.
Canes are likely trading for who he is not what the Oilers thought he would be.
I mean imo the cap should stay the same during the playoffs, stop teams from abusing it. Cap is cap.
