Samsonov is hurt
He’s a good natural tender. One needs to be ultimately focused beyond just a shooter, or a skater. A person that’s taken from others but had an overriding singularity that peaks with moves no one within eyeshot could do. Woll has that possibility.

Given that neither Murray or Samsonov can stay healthy for long, I would not be surprised to see Woll playing most of the series. The Leafs have never had a young, unheralded goaltender emerge to take them to the finals a la Roy, Ward, or Binnington, so Woll is a wild card…
I don’t know why you guys even talk about this any more have you not watched the last 2 months of hockey. I love liligren but he is not up to this standard this year which is okay he will do great next year with this learning and show up next year.

STFU about Samsonov and Woll , the Bruins goaltenders have less playoff time than them and no one is talking about them. And Luke Schenn over Lilygren every day of the week , he's earned it. Lilygren has not been the same since Sandin was traded.
Woll is very good, I'm just waiting and curious to see if and when he slips at all. I trust him considerably more than Murray though.
