So funny but i thought of this fight the other day when i saw the Tocchet-Clark fight old school (REAL LEGIT POWER FORWARDS), looks like tocchet landed the better ones This game also had the Miller and Brown scrap what a time to watch hockey as a kid, the intensity and electricity in the buildings and home and home games was just off the charts, damn i miss it
If I remember Bobby Taylor was the analyst who described Flyers games during those years. He showed professional honesty by saying that Neely had already been cut in the previous game against Montreal. Imagine if it was Rick Tocchett who suffered a cut near his eye and it was Derek Sanderson analyzing the Bruins game 🤣🤣 Homer Sanderson!
This clip shows how the players are also actors. At the 30 mark, in the clench, they calmly stop. Tocchet pats Neely’s back. They completely calm down and skate away. It looked like the end of a business meeting.
I was lucky and fortunate to grow up watching players like Neely and Tocchet play every game in a league that embraced the passion of their fans for the game.

This proves how bad todays shitty NHL is.
Kinda surprised Tocchet went at Neely. Nevin Markwart is more his speed.

Jay Miller broke Dave Browns nose in this game!

Win Neely. Tocchet sucked at fighting.

Love Cam Neely.
Now get Chikran. (SP.?)
Lots of respect as Tocchet saw Neely eye and they just stopped.
