  1. So funny but i thought of this fight the other day when i saw the Tocchet-Clark fight old school (REAL LEGIT POWER FORWARDS), looks like tocchet landed the better ones This game also had the Miller and Brown scrap what a time to watch hockey as a kid, the intensity and electricity in the buildings and home and home games was just off the charts, damn i miss it

  2. If I remember Bobby Taylor was the analyst who described Flyers games during those years. He showed professional honesty by saying that Neely had already been cut in the previous game against Montreal. Imagine if it was Rick Tocchett who suffered a cut near his eye and it was Derek Sanderson analyzing the Bruins game 🤣🤣 Homer Sanderson!

  3. This clip shows how the players are also actors. At the 30 mark, in the clench, they calmly stop. Tocchet pats Neely’s back. They completely calm down and skate away. It looked like the end of a business meeting.

  4. I was lucky and fortunate to grow up watching players like Neely and Tocchet play every game in a league that embraced the passion of their fans for the game.
