I feel bad for Murray. I don't believe he looks for excuses to miss games. Such rotten luck!
He got dropped on the back of his head by a reckless player crashing into him. He didn't see it coming.
Not a lot of protection in the back of the helmet. Might not be his call either
Win or lose the upcoming playoff series – Leaf fans should hold a parade for the Leafs this spring. It is really tough to lose as many playoff rounds as this Leaf team has done. And most Leafs fans did’t give up on them. Like I did. Murray won’t get injured as much – if he is not wearing a Leafs jersey.
I feel sorry for Sammy because we DON'T need him burnt out before the playoffs. I wish they could've dressed Woll instead. I think it's time to let Murray go. He has WAY to many injuries. If he can't come back after a fall like that then let him go. No offense to him but we need someone with a little more toughness
He just looks shakey to me. I don't really get it. Joseph Woll looks solid to me. Give the kid a shot. Put him in for the next few games of the season and if he performs well.(which I think he will). Problem solved!!
I think Murray’s lost his passion for the game. He’ll likely welcome his contract buyout, which will probably happen this summer, and retire from the game.
Murray should be demoted to AHL for games and confidence. Woll needs to play at least a game or two before season ends. Basically, Murray is option 3. He's this year's Mrazek and very likely will be bought out. Pity more money wasted on goaltending like this.
Good job Dubas. You've had several years to solidify goaltending and yet here we are again. Who knows what type of netminding we'll get come round 1.

The leafs need to put Woll into the lineup for the rest of the season.Get him prepared for the playoffs.

Apparently the piece of trash talking at the start has never had a concussion. Speaking with experience from 7 concussion, the last one where i lost about 3 years of my memory. YA a grown man falling with a helmet and hitting the back of your head on the ice like that can and WILL fuck you up. and murray has had at least 5 in the nhl, so probably a lot more in his life to. I can understand the frustration from a fans perspective that he is hurt again etc, but saying he took a very minor fall and quit is pretty low statement. Also that full gear adds a solid 25 lbs and when you fall backwards as a goalie ( I play myself, even with the concussion history) it is a lot worse.
uh, yeah he is. and this stuff is wasting another year. and some good players are leaving next year so rebuilding time has arrived with fuckall to show for the last 7 years
