Ryan Hartman got a two minute minor penalty for interference for this hit on Nikolaj Ehlers in the neutral zone. Hartman has a hearing today with the NHL’s Department of Player Safety. Tough Call will be reviewing the incident. Have your say!

All im gonna say is gonna be Clean hit like those salty jets fans when they did the same thing to Jake Evens
Anyone who thinks Ehlers is eligible to be hit here does not understand how hitting in hockey works. Ehlers is not initiating contact on Hartman, he is trying to skate past him which he is allowed to do. Hartman stops up and steps into his path. There would have been no contact otherwise. Interference all day, every day.
Real time it's clean and if anything should have been charging on Ehlers.
Suspension coming up. Puck was nowhere near the interference
Cheap shot all the way. Typical Hartman goon stuff. Sit his ass for two games.
All of you guys saying this isn't a penalty are actually brain dead lmao
Ehlers should stop trying to take runs at people….
Dirty premeditated hit based on Hartman's comments. Sometimes you gotta pay them back for injuring a player. Thats not a hockey play, its a hit man play. They should lose Hartman for at least 1 post season game since the infraction will cost the Jets post season, whether Ehlers plays or not. He wont be 100% after that. I think the Wild were trying to eliminate the Jets before the second round so they wont have to face them. Jets got them figured out too well.
Hartman will get a meaningless game. He may have taken Ehlers out for the rest of the year. He could have just as easily ended his career. What a goof.
People don't seem to understand that the jets are the dirtiest team in the NHL and they clearly didn't see Logan Stanley tackle kaprizov a month or so ago or cross checking Johansson in the back of the head or boldy getting slashed that turned into a goal for them. Wild would have won that game if it weren't for hellebuyck and the refs. Hellebuyck and Connor are the only genuine talent on that team. Respect to them for playing good and fair on a dirty team
Now show pionk’s cross check
Tough call ?? give ur head a shake !! he should have got more than 1 game IMO
this comment section is full of Minnesota hillbillies.
If you back it up 3 seconds you'd see the late hit he laid on Kaprizov which convently was not called. Now the idiots in Montreal suspend Hartman just because the check was effective! The refs wanted the Winnipeg win and delivered it. Maybe Ellerslie will think twice next time he takes cheap shots at star players…and felt what it is like to get dealt a hit from a star checker!!! I give Hartman proffs!👍👍👍
nothing wrong with that
Baaaaaaaaaad call 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
How are anyone these legal hits any different? Because the attacker went down? https://youtu.be/GuQH2BnPqj4?t=136

This isn't even a penalty, people are getting soft
He never moved, idk what the hell ehlers is looking at but Hartman isn't obligated to jump out of his way
More reverse hits: https://youtu.be/yWDeehphk6s A very common play in the NHL.
this hit or the jake evans hit ..which is worse?
How is this only 1 game? Ehlers is back checking hard up the ice with his head down. Hartman passes it and then stops and turns directly into Ehlers path and levels him. You can even see him look at Ehlers before he does it. If you don’t think that’s intentional dirty interference, you’re underestimating how fast these guys process the game.
I haven’t heard Hartman‘s comments, but it sounds like he even admitted to it being intentional. Should’ve been at least 3 games imo.
One of the worst "Goon" plays. Definitely intent to injure.
How the hell is this interference?? He literally just got rid of the puck… It’s not Hartman’s fault Ehlers did not anticipate getting hit
#1 rule in hockey! Keep your head up!!!!
