I took a look at the past couple of seasons in the OHL, and he is well over a point per game player. Seems like he will be sent to the AHL and will be fun to see if he keeps up with that production.

100 point scorer in ’22, 55 and 49 points for the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Ottawa 67’s in the OHL this year, respectively. This includes 10 points in JUST THE FIRST ROUND of the OHL playoffs, with their second series set to start in a few days.

    THAT’S KRAKEN HOCKEY (MATERIAL), BABY!!!

Seattle has a new LoMo/LogDog to cheer for! Fill the void in our hearts left since 2015!!

Was he ever drafted? Why is he a free agent up until today?

Tye Kartye who we signed last year as a undrafted guy is doing pretty well in Coachella this year.

  6. My finances brother used to play with this guy before his OHL days! Nice!

950k is saying something. League minimum is 750k, so to be passed over in the draft and still get the max for an elc is pretty good. Yes it is two way contact, but Matty got 897k, Wright got 950k and everyone else is below that.

    >April 2023 – After being passed over in the NHL Draft three times, Morrison has signed a three-year, entry-level deal with the Seattle Kraken. The 20-year-old centerman has had a prolific junior career in the OHL. In 222 games over five seasons, he has scored 111 goals and 273 points, including a 94-point campaign this season between the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Ottawa 67’s. Morrison will now return his focus to his current playoff run with the Ottawa 67’s, where he already has ten points in five games, as they look to earn a berth in the Memorial Cup. Curtis Rines

    >July 2019 – Morrison is coming off of his first season in the Ontario Hockey League with the Hamilton Bulldogs. Morrison managed to tally 14 goals and 20 assists in 47 games played. In addition, he was featured in four playoffs game and recorded an assist during the Bulldogs short playoff stint. The 5’11” center might be a bit undersized, but he makes up for it with solid speed and great hockey IQ. In fact, he had arguably the highest hockey IQ in his OHL draft class. Morrison also showcases dynamic offensive abilities. With his stellar hockey IQ, he can pin-point open forwards and deliver quality passes in transition. Josh Tessler

sounds a bit like a Yanni Gourde type player

been a 67’s fan for the longest time. we only picked him up this season for a deep run but i have no idea how this guy won ohl mvp and still got swept under the rug last year with mem cup finalist bulldogs. he’s made for high slot feeds so it’s exciting to see what he brings to this team within the next few seasons !!

I always liked LoMo, if that .238 career average translates to his shooting % then he’ll make a great forward for us.
