On today’s episode of Locked on Wild, Jayden Homuth joins to break down a 4-2 Wild win over Chicago! We discuss the debut of Brock Faber and why he looked like a player who looked like a veteran despite a ton of uneven play around him. We make the case for Faber to at least get consideration for postseason play considering what we have seen from the back end of the Wild defense all season. We also discuss Marco Rossi and Calen Addison and their return to the lineup. We look at why it was more of the same for Addison, while being a solid return to play for Rossi in a lesser role. We also discuss how the Matt Boldy line can keep it going even with Kirill Kaprizov back on the top line and commanding top attention from opponents!

Tell me Seth are you not set up
For interactive?
Evason has a formula that doesn't work
Two grinders with speed he's done this
All year why in your opinion does he keep
Doing it?
You know my take
Sundquist over foligno any day
Sunny can also play center so maybe he plugs in for Steel or Rossi
Faber looked great. Rossi, not so much. Rossi needs more time (like 2 more full seasons) in the AHL.
and hes scratched for tonight.
Faber looked solid for coming in cold, now we can look to the west ( Kings ) and show them what we were able to obtain from them for Fiala, who is out with a lower body injury still. Over time, something tells me the Wild are going to be thrilled with the pick ( Yulov ) and Faber who could be here 7-10 years. The depth we have is such a critical element going forward. If / when the Wild get through R1, this will come into play and become a HUGE asset. We just need to get through the first round. 17 dropping them last night while admirable was stupid. If he had gotten hurt – wow…All our thoughts are with Shaw, he has earned a career in the league, whether it’s in management, scouting, coaching, or hopefully playing, he’ll be OK as teams want those type of guys in their systems. Tonight will be interesting, if somehow we knock them off and the Jets don’t punch a ticket into the playoffs, they can look to a potential 0-4 record against the Wild…
Marco !!!
I am sorry to say. I am a fan of Rossi, but he will not work in Minnesota under Evason. He dont trust in him and thats holds Marco back in his game. That starts already in pre season and it was shown again in the blackhawks game
Can Addison become a forward? Or is that too big of transition?
