Not a bad effort, lot to like about the game. Biggest concern is goaltending. Absolutely cannot lose the goaltending battle and Vasy got way outplayed

Last 2 minutes of that game brought my blood pressure up considerably
a lot to digest. Not mad though played well showed fight just couldn’t finish Vasy let in some softy. Refs won’t call game like this in playoffs. We clean it up we can win if we don’t we losing and anyone who disagrees is arrogant ignorant or both
People are going to try to cope with this one by saying, “That game didn’t matter” and “The Bolts will turn it on in the playoffs.”
But our guys clearly wanted that one. This wasn’t one of those lazy efforts where we lost because no one seemed to give a shit. They gave it everything and they couldn’t beat a third-string goalie on a team without several of its top players.

When is it okay to start worrying? Because I’m a bit worried. Why does every backup goalie look incredible against us this season?
Call me crazy but I have a hunch that the playoffs will not go well.
I’m just glad we dominated them like we were expected to. The awful turnovers need to stop and we’ll be fine
All that matters is next week. The first two games will tell a lot if we are truly just gassed

Leafs fan coming in peace. This was a good game, and it was as scrappy as I was hoping, lol. Next week will be fun!
My hope is this gives the Leafs false confidence and gives us extra motivation. I know we seemingly always end the seasons slow, but I’m still a little concerned at how bad this month or so has been.

Outshot them 49-24. Leafs had a tough time getting much going when they weren’t on the pp. 2 pp goals on questionable calls.We only allowed 16 shots playing 5on5. Completely dominated the entire third period.
Big kudos to Woll who played lights out tonight. He completely bailed the leafs out.

Hedman looked rough out there tonight. I thought it was a good game. Holl had a lights out game. I don’t feel like Marner and Matthews would add very much. Leafs we’re diving all over to block shots. Felt like they were desperate. I think if we stick to our guns and play em scrappy we have a chance. It all comes down to Vasy really, tightening up D and scoring on the few PPs we will get. Kuch was pissy and had one of his best games in a while. Love when he gets mad and starts shooting everything. He needs to keep that energy into the first round.
So I’ve been on the “this is normal, nothing to worry about” train for a while now, but I’m starting to think this is an express train to the off-season…
