  1. Eh? It was clearly a good hit, but the gold medal probably cured the pain just perfectly 😛

  2. i went to school with alex in grade 9 and 10 and then a bit in grade 12…i even got to play hockey on his rink hes a great player and awesome friend…

  3. yeah, and look. Sweden is the Olympic champions + the world champions. hmmm lets see, a small country with 9 milion inhabitants vs. a big country with 33 098 932 inhaditants. conclusion? the swedish quality is way better!

  5. Men skriv på svenska ditt halvfabrikat. Jag skiter fullständigt i hur historiken ser ut. Canadicker är fuskare, enögda och har ingen respekt för motståndare..

  6. russia is better then canada. no dout. canada cant win if they dont have the reffs on their side. and dont say im wrong. becuse you know im right!

  7. Man i like how you are so gangster with calling people lil bro's but you forgot how to spell… i know he's is a three letter word and the ' is tough to remember but seriously….

  8. @Magicgreenslime In olympic hockey, Canada has as many gold medals as Sweden has medals. Canada also won gold 5 years in a row two different times at the IIHF world juniors. Canada has also won 5 gold medals OVER Sweden in the juniors, not to mention Sweden has only won gold once in 1981, which is 30 years ago. By the way Sweden just lost to Norway at the IIHF, their first win ever. Perhaps it is you who should go to bed. And yes he did leave his feet.

  9. @circusmonkey10

If Torp had been canadian and Pietrangelo been swedish you would have said it was a clean hit and nothing about the skates leaving the ice, but as fast as something happens to canadian players you're whining

  10. @corunguneee That's not the point, the point is that canadians always play they're so tough but when it happens to them they're always whining

  11. Im swedish. I love Sweden but next that i think I like Canada the most. Its an awesome tackle for a guy at that age on a guy like Pietrangelo. In general the canadians are FAR better hitters then we are.. both great hockey nations – cant we leave it at that or does EVERYTHING on internet has to be an argument?

  12. @crillux Try a pair of glasses. The skates leaves the ice after impact, and quite often, people whining about jumping hits when in fact there's no jumping at all.

  13. @Fifa0808 No i hate that stuff as well. What i was trying to say was why everything has to be an argument just for the sake of argument? Cant you just like the tackle and cred it or is it greatly important to find something to discuss and be negative about on EVERYTHING?

  14. @SHR3DR That is so true. Show me an open ice hit where the hitter's skates DOESN'T leave the ice AFTER impact. If the other guy falls over, I'd say it's a 100 % chance that your forward body rotation will lead to your skates losing contact with the ice. That's not illegal, that's physics.

  15. @de4no123 that is physics. But the Rule in hockey says when hitting skates can not leave ice. and also you have to glide before making contact

  16. He did glide just before the hit and saktes leaved the ice after the hit, what's wrong with the hit?
