x-[NEXT DAY] Game Thread 80/82: Devils at Bruins 2023.04.08.

<waves hand> Hello, Bruin fans! Enjoy your stay here and behave yourselves.

Once Big Mac found that second gear, he locked the net down (.950sv%) and Boston did not score again in 55 minutes.

LOL, of course it had to be a Zacha revenge night.

I really hope Mikey is okay.

And finally, congratulations Jack and Luke!

I’m happy they kept up with Boston for the most part.

I’m annoyed that the refs let a lot of calls go that should be called even in the post seasons.

And I’m pissed Marchand is such a dirty fucking rat that can get away with both embellishment and head hunting in the same game.

On the bright side, they looked great and got a taste of playoff officiating.

Boston is definitely beatable – Excellent team with a lot of momentum, but I don’t think they will win the cup this year.

Anyone here anything on McLeod yet? Really hope he’s not concussed.

Unfortunately we are not better than the best team in the salary cap era

I think the Boston fans are a little overly confident. They won by one goal (that was kicked in by our goalie) and are acting like it was a blowout.

Good defensive team, but I think their offense is sus. The Devils lost that game by scoring on themselves and not putting up more than one goal.

Devils lost the game more than Boston won it.

I think they are overrated, underwhelming and will fizzle in the playoffs like most president trophy teams do.

I don’t get how anyone can watch last nights game and not be pumped for the playoffs. We hung around with a team that will more than likely make NHL history tonight. Bergeron in his post game interview praised the the Devils performance.

Last night definitely gave me playoff vibes. Losing stunk but that was expected. Boston is just on another level, and I still think they could take a game or 2 from them in a series.

This made me pretty confident for a series with the Rags

This was a great game and I loved every second of it minus the McLoed hit. The boys finished checks, Tatar was violent and Bahl still beasting out.

While I want to win im also glad because I don’t want to play Florida in the first round. I think they are our only potential matchup that we would struggle against in round one.

Rangers I think we beat in 5. LFG!!

    Biggest takeaway for me:

Jack and Bratt were our best players despite the physicality. Good sign for the playoffs.

You don’t win allowing 22 shots in a period
