Week to week doesn’t help too much for hope and optimism. Fuck.
With the way this team has been able to get along without Kap (somehow), this actually might be more punishing than losing Kap. We have no centers to eat those really tough minutes Ek plays.

Hoping for the best. If a forward is needed to step in, I hope it’s not Rossi. Downvote me all you want, but let him simmer and bring him in next fall instead of making him fill Ek’s shoes which he’ll probably fail at. I’m looking long term

I feel like EK always comes back quick. I remember thinking he broke his fricking leg on the goal post in the playoffs a couple years ago, and he came back.
2 weeks from now is still between the 2nd and 3rd game of the first round. I’m going stay optimistic that he is playing by the 3rd or 4th game of the series.
