you didn't miss very much. horribly played game. delia didn't have a good game. aside from hughes and hirose, the defence was terrible. couldn't get the puck to a forward on the zone exit. the forwards didn't support them either. all hanging around the offensive blueline with the puck in their end. pettersson was back to help but you need more than one doing that.
Yeah but how bout the oilers
Hirose saved Myers bacon most of the night. Hirose was the defensive conscious for that pairing. If Myers could ever learn to play defence the way Chara played, he would be an amazing player for a long time in the NHL Right now his positioning is embarrassing. He could learn a thing or two from Hirose's play. Play your position box out the offence in front f the net, compliment your partner and not try to play their spot too!
