CURTIS LAZAR TRADED TO DEVILS, JT MILLER’S MIRACULOUS RECOVERY



The Canucks acquired a fourth-round pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for Curtis Lazar.

As well, it appears that the Penguins were very interested in JT Miller…at the exact time Miller suffered a lower-body injury.

    Please do not treat Miller he's a good player we need them this trade is really not worth anything so sad watching it for hours just to get a little trade like that it's too bad

    Idk I feel like they should have traded him and not demanded a centre. You can always pick a good one up in free agency especially because the canucks would have so much cap room

    Yeah, not sure I'm buying Beers being injured. I think he was almost moved and it fell through.

    I had high hopes for Lazar as well, not so much for point production but durability and standing out in other ways..

    Local boy. Saw him and hoped he would be better or be inspired about playing close to home. Did not think he was that good. Not terribly surprised. He is limited. And he tried to fill a spot the team is weak on and did not move the bar. At least got a pick.

    Lazar was good at the start of the season, but he's fallen off since then. Getting a 4th was a good move by the Canucks.

    Terrible trade, just like the others. If Rutherford and Allvin keep this up, fans won't recognize most of the players on the Canucks.

    Finally! The Canucks are liquidating for draft picks. Nothing against Lazar, best of luck, the locker room was admittedly stuffed, I wish they could've got more back but hey, we shouted and they listened.

    Curtis lazar had more drive than any player on that team. He is excellent at faceoffs and the Devil’s saw that, he is headed for the playoffs and the Canucks are bottom feeders, I wish him lots of luck with the Devils. They saw what the Canucks didn’t, it’s their loss.
