It must be a slow news day
A rich man doesn't sell at the peak or buy at the bottom. It's always somewhere in the vicinity.
Hindsight is always perfect! Poles got what most probably was the best deal on the table at the time! Where could he have gotten a caliber receiver like DJ Moore without giving up more in salary and draft capital? "Greedy" means you ask too much and potentially blow the deal! I don't think the Panthers had DJ in the mix when they approached the Bears! Poles made a demand! It was a great trade! We don't think he weighed offers from other teams? Let's trust the process. A strip-down, rebuild hasn't happened for this team in my lifetime! Enjoy the hypothetical debates too! 😆😆😆
No. They got a haul. It was a decisive move and they were able to move on to the next phase of a long offseason. Take sensible definitive action and don’t look back.
He pulled the trigger when he felt he needed to. Who knows what would've happened had we waited. I'm ok with getting DJ Moore. Maybe this year we don't have to draft a WR.
