These shows being split sucks
The consistency in passion and desperation has improved though. That's 5 out of 6 good efforts.
That wasn't really the case earlier in the year.
I'm still with you in that I'm skeptical as to how long it lasts though.
This was another game with awful finishing. 2 goals on 24 high danger chances. They are now dead last in GFAx. What saved them is that the Preds are 31st in the league😂.
Great job at HDCA limitation though. Credit where credit is due.

I've been saying for the past two seasons I'm not buying on this team until they can get past the first round. Fool me once, fool me twice? It's well past that point, regardless of how the regular season played out. Just making the playoffs, no matter as a top seed or a wildcard, wasn't important Get to the second round and then we'll talk. Until then it's all semantics.
That's what I've been saying, get a 1B!! We need a better backup plan if Jarry is out for large swaths of the season!!
Penguins don't play defense with consistency, until that happens a Stanley Cup Finals are a distant memory
I have to agree. This team makes me think about football. Specifically, Lucy holding a football, and Charlie Brown running up to kick it.
DK I keep asking what's wrong with Jarry? Somethings wrong and only the team can fix it. Those little things looked big the last game.
Don't want to buy what you're telling us DK, but I know you're spot on in the broader picture. Effortwise their game has improved and as a fan I try to hang on to that. What I do wonder….is there pressure under the surface which can peralyse this team? I mean, we can argue about the lack of quality of some players, but in that locker room they all know these are the last chances to win a cup with the core guys. So many players seems to underperform and get frustrated with themselves.
