The Canucks played a really good playoff game. Nobody told the leafs the playoffs start after trade deadline day in Vancouver, lol. Excellent game and very entertaining.
I dont hate the leafs, I hate their fans which are insufferable therefore I must root for them to lose.
better then makar lol
just the fact that Hughes can do this on Canucks imagine if he was playing for Boston? I saw Orr play and he was great/ Quinn does it like he is barely trying if that makes sense. He is right behind Karlsson in assists and he is catching up.
The one thing now is Thatcher Demko is healthy. He was not healthy the entire season. The Canucks basically had guys that were maybe 1 rung ahead of the Zamboni Driver as Goalies. Yeh we can say the defense was bad. But Martin and Delia were not stopping the average shots. If you are a Goalie and can not stop a shot at your glove hand. You either need glasses or be an extra on Gold Rush…. Now Demko is back and maybe a good finish to the Season.
Hope your second date goes really well, and that you and her (or him) hit it off!
Except Makar will probably break that record soon
ATTA BOY LEGO. HOPE IT GOES WELL WITH THE LADIES (or guys)
I am so disappointed in the Vancouver Canucks after the trade deadline. All the while during the Benning era, I knew what he was doing was not going to work. After 8 years of a rolling re-fresh that never went anywhere, This new management team with a short time frame due to a 3 year contract commitment, they are trying to do the same. While Jim Benning did leave some better parts to do this with, the only way it will work if is EVERYTHING works. Jettisoning contracts, adding new defensemen, Petterson raising his game, the Bo trade which really is a trade of a centerman for a defenseman (first round pick and a second with the roster player being the throw in). There is no depth to the organization and real cap issues going forward after the resigning of Miller, the OEL anchor and the depth of high priced veteran wingers (Boeser, Pearson) not playing to their contracts, defencemen (Myers and OEL) and center Garland. I can only blame the ownership because management is hired to do what ownership wants. Because of this, I am stepping back from following my team as close as I have in the past because I have given up hope that this team is serious in competing for the Stanley Cup.
2nd Date lets gooo
I don't know about you, but the team has done a lot better without OEL. And I think these guys see the weak schedule ahead. They would have to get 44-45 points in the last 30 games. They would have to go on a epic run. Legendary. If they got close the fans would still show as they do. Rick made it sound like a trial run to the playoffs for the young guys. Not like they make it this year but to get a taste because they think they are close. These young guys need that battle. Work hard for wins. It sounded like they want the play offs next year. A dry run so to say. A healthy Demko will make it interesting. And 30 more games for Petey and Kuz.
hey gio! congrats on the second date i hope it goes well. you're a very handsome and charming guy so im sure it will!
Mgt not talking playoffs this…next. They have been underperforming and are realistically a mid-league team on the cusp. Retooling will get them there. They still have an average amount of draft picks which could increase with Garland, Myers trade etc. Canuck fans usually complain when they see a stone cold 95% sniper like Miller when he plays for another team. EXCEPT when he’s on their team!! Hypocritical fans, as per usual
They AREN’T a bad team, 7th worst. In the standings, yes. Underperforming this year, and missed Demko. With Hronek who is a top 5th percentile D, and asserts, they are a cusp to playoff team
SECOND DATE GOOD STUFF BUD! Hope this becomes something more for you 🙂
No one cares if you get date or not I feel like when you tell people that I feel it’s pointless 😂 good for you you got a date but it’s pointless when you talk about that it’s entertaining when you talk about hockey related instead of your personal life!🙄
love the hughes brothers.
The fact Hughes was able to do all this on a struggling team with a revolving door of teammates makes that record all the more impressive.
I gotta see it to believe it just like when Green got fired from having a shitty start, then Bruce comes in they start playing good near the end of last season, then next season at the beginning Bruce was technically fired from them losing games and players not bein at their %100 at the start of the year, maybe it'll be the same with Tocchet.
Good with a new coach at the 2 half of the season then next year back to normal.
I won't be surprised if it does happen😶 like we've have seen this b4 already who knows, I hope they start losing again atm tho but it looks like we gonna drop in the draft lottery and I'm still pissy about the trade, still it'll take me awhile to soak in.
Hughes the next Bobby Orr !!
u have a chance to not fumble the bag, get yo girl !!!!!!!!!!!!
LETS GOOOOO
Quinn Hughes is untouchable but it wold be sweet to have jack Hughes coming to Vancouver in the summer for the NHL free agency on Canada day
You missed an awesome game Lego
bobby orr was winning a stanley cup (33g 120pts) at the same stage of his career that hughes is currently at.
