I think he’s a great coach. He shakes up the lines way too much imo. Before the new year we were flying. Then he started shaking all the lines up for some reason and never stopped. Dude needs to see what has been working and stick with it.

Honestly, with all the injuries, I think Lavi lost the room because there was too much uncertainty and not feeling him trying to protect the players.
I’d also say if we keep him, make changes at the assistant coach level. Heck, even if we don’t keep him, make changes. Our goalies need a better coach as does our power play.

Leonsis thinks he can keep revenue high while an aging, overpaid roster fades into playoff irrelevance while chasing individual records.
That’s a first-time coaching job for some new guy from the AHL or NCAA. Leonisis can pay him peanuts, he won’t complain, it will be good experience, even if they are meaningless seasons.
