Team Finland IIHF World Junior Championship Roster | Finland Hockey | 2022 WJC



Team Finland has named its final 25 player roster for the 2022 Finland National Junior Team, the “Nuoret Leijonat”. The group, which includes nine members of the bronze medal-winning 2021 Finland National Junior Team.

The final announced roster includes: Joel Blomqvist (G), Juha Jatkola (G), Leevi Meriläinen (G), Aleksi Heimosalmi (D), Rami Määttä (D), Topi Niemelä (D), Petteri Nurmi (D), Ville Ottavainen (D), Kasper Puutio (D), Ruben Rafkin (D), Eemil Viro (D), Samuel Helenius (C), Roni Hirvonen (C), Roby Järventie (LW), Oliver Kapanen (C), Joakim Kemell (RW), Ville Koivunen (W/C), Brad Lambert (C/RW), Juuso Mäenpää (C), Joel Määttä (C), Olli Nikupeteri (F), Sami Päivärinta (C), Aatu Räty (C), Kasper Simontaival (RW), Kalle Väisänen (RW).

Team Finland will begin their run toward the Gold Medal against Team Germany on December 26th, 2021. The 2022 IIHF World Junior 50/50 Hockey Championship is set for Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta, from December 26, 2021 – January 5, 2022.

    that offense is so deep and they also have few really good D’s and a good starter
