  1. my old supremes have a really low tongue, same height as his. If on the new skates manufacturers make them higher, i would cut them too because i am used to that.

  2. Wants more forward flex. Skates manufacturers these days don’t put that into consideration with the over stiff skates on the market

  3. I find it hysterical that even after some of these guys make it to nhl they still don’t know how to tie their skates! The tongue is fine but he’s more likely to get hurt

  4. Cotton this is a bold move, let's see how the media plays it out for him. I'm excited to see it. Cotton there's players that have knobs that are shoe lace thick. But this I've never seen.

  5. Thought this was gonna be about his religious allergy to rainbow warmup jerseys. πŸ™„

  6. Pure stupid and serves no purpose…having the tongue atleasr has protection and IS NOT in the way….anything for fame..

  7. For full ankle mobility. Most NHLers also don't lace up the top 1-3 holes for same reason. It takes strong feet and ankles to not need that support but it allows for maneuvers that aren't otherwise possible

  8. Gives more freedom of movement at the ankle…my guess! As a defense man I used to wear an ankle pad strapped on over that area.
