Quick had a great career with the Kings, especially during his prime, but how does this trade make sense for VGK? Yeah their goalies Thompson and Brossoit are injured, but they got rid of Fleury because they wanted to have a younger goalie and now they get Quick who is almost just as old as Fleury and past his prime…. Apart from that, Kings wanted to get rid of Quick just like many of their fans since he tends to give up soft goals on many occasions…. This move just further proves they should have never gotten rid of Fleury who is doing great with the Wild now and they're actually backpedaling from the Fleury trade with the acquisition of Quick….
