Sticks his elbow out and then acts like it didn't happen. Scheifele is a dirty punk. Remember when he drilled Evans after that empty netter in the bubble? This guy is okay with hurting other players intentionally.
Cirelli was still trying to play after that so very good dive. He should try acting he will do very well once his career is over.
As for the elbow he tucked it in as he went by trying to avoid the head, he probably was trying to hit as he went into him but once cirelli heard, (AND ACTION) cirelli then turned he then tried to avoid the upcoming hit. Shiefs could of jumped over to try to avoid but would of risked hurting himself as well. Keep in mind this is a very fast passed game slow motion reply is not the same as a split second decision your brain cannot react fast enough to tell your body what to do in most instances.That is how most goalies get scored on, Puck is in the net before before they can react!

Scheiefele didn't mean to target and was no where full force or intent to injure.
The better play is scheifele taking body while he's got his head down and going through instead of how he did it at least could say that's clean.
Cirelli should have kept his head up. Should have gotten an embellishment penalty. Wasn't even that bad.
I think this is the definition of a wimp. It was as clear as day. Even if it wasnât dirty, itâs still clear.

Not sure why everyone says this is a hit watch the zadorov hit on shiefele or the big buf hit on mark stone Thts a hit! this is just one guy skating by n one guy turns the wrong way n gets clipped in head by accident he even tucked in his elbow n the other guy stretches his neck out as far as he could to draw a penalty no one was hurt just protocol to keep him out nhl gotta cover thr ass.

He clearly tried to get out of the way after buddy put his head down to look at the puck and turn. Not marks fault at all and he should complain. Hate seeing players get penaltyâs for other players being completely unaware of their surroundings.
In real-time it looks like Cirelli skates into him. I donât think it was intentional at all. Kind of like 2 players accidentally skating into each other. I get the refs are looking for these types of collisions but Iâm not sure that should be a penalty
I like how people are complaining about how this hit was cleanâŚfirst off he hit his head so thatâs a penalty regardless of how âsoftâ it was and second they only gave him a minor I would understand the complaining if they gave him a major, but the didnât do why the hell complain about a penalty that was the correct call.
