You know the meme with the 3 sliders and everytime they push one up 1 goes down. That’s our Offense defense and goaltending.
We can never have all three going at once. One just has to be bad.
Another 1 goal loss. Flames still have no 3rd period comebacks this year. I aint even mad, I just want to see how unbelievably cursed this gets by game 82.
I knew the second Roy scored that was going to be the GWG
No holding call on the third goal. Fun
So, the Flames basically have to run the table and have the Jets & Preds lose a bunch now to even have the smallest of chances.
But hey, Lucic and Lewis got some valuable experience playing very late in the third when the team was desperate for a goal. I’m sure that will pay off beautifully in the years to come.
Just not our year.
Let’s lose out and try and get a top ten pick and run it back next year.

I wish I could say it’s been a fun season but it hasn’t. It has however been great suffering with all of you. Reddit game day threads are the main reason I still watch.
That ending 6v5 was putrid, and indicative of the flames season. Lewis and Lucic out for some reason, at least four whiffs, and a real scoring chance for the opposing team. Wow that was bad.
Winning 1 of 8 home games isnt exactly “fighting to get in” . What a joke
Hopefully they go 9-0 or 0-9 now. Will probably end up something like 6-3 for the worst possible draft pick

You think fighting for the season more than Duehr and Markstrom would showed they cared. This team is so defeated it’s depressing to watch. Hopefully the Jets win so I can finally give up that little voice in my head saying there’s still a chance. This has been one of the most boring and frustrating season to watch.

So frustrating watching us lose important games. Why can’t we just be clutch once in a while?

I feel bad for the players that actually care. This group does not include Huberdeau or Kadri.
Fuck that third goal from Vegas. Ref was right there man. This season is so fucked. Like how hard can it be to get a single comeback in the third all season.

Should have blown it up and gone for full rebuild after Tkachuk’s trade request rather than acquiring square pieces to fit round pegs. Would have been perfect draft year to do so as well.
I want to give these refs a distinct kicking motion.
It was nice of this year’s team to ensure we all have a recent memory of “It could be worse” to compare future seasons to. /s
But honestly, I sympathize with you all for suffering through this season. I will say, at least we have a good community to help each other through. For me, I’m going to take the atom-thin silver lining that I get to watch playoff hockey and simply try to enjoy the quality of each individual game, rather than having heart palpitations worrying about us losing a given round. Here’s hoping we make meaningful adjustments in the offseason and come back to be the team we all hoped for this season.
And we may very well play spoilers to the Jets or Preds in the last few games, so it gives us something to watch, I guess.
Being older, I’ve seen worse seasons.
That being said, this was not a fun season. I hope we draft well and some young guys come up. We need some luck to go our way in the coming seasons when it comes to player development and guys jumping up and being better at the NHL level than we thought they would be.

I have to say Kadri with a blind pass just cause he’s a bit tired leading to a turn over with a minute left leading to a wasted 40 seconds was very high hockey iq. How to get your coach fired 101. Play like shit. Complain. Have a no movement clause. Good job!
