Most offsides are by inches with no obvious effect on the goals that were scored. In other words, eliminate video review on offside and get on with the game.

So then it begs the question, maybe the nhl needs to look into the horrible officiating and do something about it?!?
Can't say this often, but each challenge looked to be the correct call. So it IS possible for the league to get things right.

This would suck to watch in person. Both those goaltender interferences shouldn’t have been reviewed in the first place.

Yet they didn't call the obvious penalty on Reimer against Nugent-Hopkins lol. Just because you're a goalie doesn't mean you can hold opposing players. Refs were…. off lol
That Hyman disallowed goal was a tough one to swallow. He barely touched the goalie.
let's put offsides calls back in the hands of linesmen and get rid of replays, except for determining if the puck crossed the goal line. A goal is more often then not recalled because a player was a few millimeters offsides. Slows the game down which is already too slow due to replays, time outs for commercials, etc.

At least the refs were consistent about what constitutes goaltender interference for once
2:37 FIRST NHL GOAL THIS SEASON… no wait… This is what Steve was talking about how do we celebrate a goal when we dont know that it was a goal… 1st the goal at full speed x4 angles, then goal in slow-mo camera.. then coaches looking at monitors. Right calls aside… but how many before you wonder "do we cheer now?"

Jack Campbell gets em right like 99% of the time. Hes got a good team behind him.
It really begs the question…..what are the Linesmen doing out there if they cant do their jobs and call the offsides…….just getting in the way of the players. Take one official and put them in the press box….free up some space on the ice…..and get the right call….the first time…same with penalties.

These coaches challenges for offsides are still far better then the constant offside whistles when it was just ref judgement. Look how bad baseball is with ump calls. They get it wrong far too often.
brutal offside calls especially the 1st one. its time for a rule and discretion change cause that's awful. No surprise edmonton gets biased reffing in there building
I feel like with offside calls if a teams has been set up with possession in side their offensive zone for over 20 seconds there shouldn't be an offside.
That last off side should have been blowed dead that was a bad line refer on it and the last gold tending was a little bit of a stretch.
Pointing out that the referees don't know what they're doing four times in one game. Cool.
