Love it man. Absolutely right. I have faith in Slafkovsky. I think he will be around 70-80 point, 130 hits kind of guy. I think he should go down to 225 instead of 240. Put on muscle and really focus on his physical game and the offensive will come. I know it! What do you think
I am Canes fan and i think it is not that much about drafting bad in past. I think it is more about bad development in Montreal. KK just had 5point game and breaking out since midseason. He needed 1 season to adapt to a top 6 role. He was buried in 4th line at Montreal and he was not able to get going. He got chance at Carolina and he is starting to look really good for us, but it was all about giving him chance and develop him right. The bad season that Slafkovsky had i am blaming on Montreal development. They literally put him in 4th line role and everyone was suprised why he is not producing. Than his confidence went down and when he finally got a legit top 6 chance(mostly because of all the injuries)he got injured too. Will be interesting to follow his development next year, but i am worried that they will hold him in NHL in bottom 6 role and kill his development even more.

It's hard to assess Slaf's abilities if he's injured. This is essentially speculation, because he did seem to be progressing well until he was hurt.

Just let the kid grow. KK still could pan out to be very good. Can't give up on ppl too early. Don't want a KK 2.0.
