Also- I believe the Sherwood pass was deflected by a defender for that sweet sweet goal. Still a gritty goal but vastly different goal.

For me the microcosm of that Rangers game was how I was expecting the team to perform after all these trades and young guys coming up to cut their teeth in the league.
But gosh, them doing alright instead definitely made that Rangers game epically shocking

This was definitely written before the Jets and Rangers game. Even with Josi back, we’re going to have trouble staying competitive over this last stretch.
The Preds have THE TOUGHEST remaining schedule in the NHL. Our “easy” games include the Penguins, Jets, and Flames – all of whom are fighting for the playoffs. Our hard games include the #1 seed of every single division.
It’s conceivable that we don’t win another game this season if Josi stays out (he has a history of concussions, so it’s likely they rest him). I’m projecting we’ll end up with a 12th or 13th overall pick.

I’m really concerned about any kind of playoff push when we have no idea what’s wrong with Josi, or when he’ll be back.
