Dominating the other team and losing to some leaky goals and some bullshit is getting real old. Better than getting blown out I guess.

We’ve got everything besides the finish these last few games. Love the effort but we can’t finish our chances. Heddy basically had half the net to shoot at on that last chance and hit the post 🙁
We are missing “it,” hopefully we figure it out before the playoffs.

Honestly, not even really upset about that game. We showed way more fight and desperation tonight than we have in a while. Some bad luck too with the posts versus a team fighting for a playoff spot with a good goaltender in net. Tough loss, but very different to getting destroyed like we were for a minute there.
How many posts and crossbars tonight? 6? Hedman had a great look.
2 games in NJ this week are gonna be tough.
Well, baby steps I guess. At least we lost this one after a great effort. It’s a big improvement over those few games where we were just letting in goal after goal.
Both Vegas and Winnipeg games we deserved more than what we got. Stings.

Only person on the team that bothered me tonight was Stammer.

Missed goalie interference and that missed hold late were pretty killer. Should have been tied at least in the 3rd.
Not scoring on 5 on 3 was ass though. But at least the effort is there we look so much better on the ice the last few games than we did the previous few weeks.
Man wish they scored on that 5 on 3.

listen, i know the bolts have not been playing their best hockey and vasy has maybe been a little questionable, but what the fuck is going on with the officiating? i swear, this is at least the third or fourth game in recent memory where the game basically came down to one blown call.
I wish we could control better and not give so many turnovers ~ that and the passing needs to tighten up. Still played a great game and the refs never seem to call icing when I expect them to..🙄
We can bitch and moan about the post and the refs, and yeah that sucks, but they had a fucking 5v3 for a full minute and played hot potato with the puck. No excuse for that.
Can Vasy become at least average before playoffs? Giving up 1-2 softies per game is not good. Would be extra nice if he doesn’t give up 10-ply’s and makes 2-3 great stops.
So a couple of talking points
1. Contrary to popular belief, I see trends in the right direction minus mistakes. They hustled tonight
2. I really hope Cirelli is alright
3.someone explain goaltender interference to me. How in gods name did that actually count as a goal
