Man, I fucking love this team. Vitek got 3rd star, but man he was #1 on the ice in my book.

Good to get Vitek a big fat shutout and get that confidence sky high. Honestly great call by Ruff to let him sit a few games and reset a bit (and I’m sure work out some things in practice). No matter how the last 20 games go, they know they have another gear they can kick into against quality playoff teams.
Fun fact: “Vitek” is Czech for “…nah uh, not today, bitches”

What a complete and solid effort tonight. No doubt in my mind this team can find that gear for the playoffs after this performance. One of their best wins all season.

I really can’t think of a more perfect outcome to this game. Beat the hurricanes. Bounce back games from Hughes bratt and vitek. Vitek with the shutout. Tied for first in the metro. I mean does it get any better? The only thing that I want to see is for them to stop turning the puck over in our zone. Vitek had to bail us out a couple times. All in all great win against a good team.
