Hynes said on Robby and Rexrode this morning that he was close to returning last week but hit another snag and had a setback. He is “more than day-to-day” now.

Sucks for him and his health but good for the team. They benefit nothing from winning anymore games this season. Rest up Fil

Missing 15-20 games a year appears to be who he is now. Sucks.
It’s his yearly injury, it’s never if Fil gets injured but when… This is what we signed up for giving him another contract 🤷🏻♂️
There’s no need to rush and risk injury. We’re in rebuild for 2-3 years probably and we’ll need him healthy long term.
Honestly Forsberg probably needs the time off more than we need Forsberg back. I guess it all depends on how badly you want to be in the playoffs. I personally don’t think it’s worth the run. I’m just here to watch the up and coming guys play. It’s honestly more fun without the weight of expectations.
Not like there’s a reason to rush him back.
