That was more snow that I was expecting. I should start keeping an eye on the forecast.
I’m the type of fan that watches the Wings religiously. I live 144 miles away, so I don’t get the daily coverage from newspapers and radio. I’m not into podcasts, and stats, and charts. But I do try and watch every game that I can throughout the season because at some point, earlier than later these days, the season will end, and then how will I spend my evenings or afternoons? So watching games is important to me. All of that being said, it looks like a good weekend to get caught up on chores. I’m not sure I can handle the impending beatdown that the boys are about to take.

Well that was a statement gave by Buffalo haha. Nail in the coffin type of game. Lots of talent but real streaky like the rest of the young teams. Probably going to finish neck and neck with Detroit too. Could see Ottawa having the same fate after games like that clunker vs Chicago.

Holy smokes the way some people talk you’d think Pride Night was some kind of forced orgy or some shit, always making their disgust clear by bringing up graphic details about gay sex and how much they swear they don’t care.
Pride Night is an acknowledgement of the hardships a marginalized group goes through, and a statement that participating in/watching hockey is a safe space from that. Apparently not though, because people can’t be adults about it.
Yes they jerseys are a moneygrab and corporations take advantage of the cause as with everything in capitalism. But that doesn’t take away the importance of the message.
Can’t wait for the D4 beta next week, sucks that it’ll only be three classes but I’m pumped to have a Diablo game to grind that dopamine hit in again, hard to believe D3 came out in 2012.

Basically since ska neva of the vhl has been eliminated buch is dropping down to mhl for playoffs.
I’m suprised the amount of people that are still supportive of Vrana when he didn’t even play 30 games in Detroit. Yzerman didn’t like Vranas work ethic and there was some conflict there. I know Yzerman can be a hardass sometimes but at the same time he’s the most respected guy in the league thst isn’t a current player. You don’t slack around people like Yzerman. It just seems like a really bad situation. I know he was going through stuff personally but still you have to show up and do what your boss says. I only support players that give it their all when they are here and it seemed like that wasn’t the case with Vrana.
There are only 17 games left before a long summer. I’m going to try to enjoy them all, but I am not looking forward to these two Boston games.

Not sure if someone else has pointed this out in the past, but the Brad Stuart trade in 2008 included a 2009 4th which found it’s way to Atlanta where the Thrashers selected… Ben Chiarot. Kinda fun connection there. Mike Green was another player selected with a Detroit pick who eventually ended up in Detroit.
Kasper making the jump to North America next year is great news for the Wings. Gives him a great opportunity to slot in on the Red Wings.
Looks like Buchelnikov hat trick bid will be ended by an errant high stick with 12 min left in the third.
