Thats a cross check and should have been a penalty but the league hardly ever calls cross checking even though it causes a lot of injuries compared to other penalties. Don’t worry though, they will call a penalty if someone gets their hands tapped by a stick.
You gotta feel bad for the Lightning right now. Nothing is going right for them. Defence isn't good, offence isn't good, goaltending isn't good. Also many injuries. Hopefully Hedman is okay, he's skating on his own so that's a good sign.
