  1. Here’s the thing most people forget.

This group as a whole has been playing playoff hockey out the wazzu.

    2017-2018: 82 Games + 17 Playoff Games
    2018-2019: 82 Games + 4 Playoff Games
    2019-2020: 70 Games + 25 Playoff Games
    2020-2021: 56 Games + 23 Playoff Games
    2021-2022: 82 games + 23 Playoff Games
    2022-2023: 82 games + ???

Sure pieces left, Yanni Gourde is gone, McDonough is gone, Goodrow is gone for sure (hence why they grabbed Jeannot) but overall this group has played a metric fuckton of games…

510 regular season games + 92 playoff games = 602 games total for the core.

That’s a whole other season of games in the playoffs and that doesn’t even count the 12 they probably have this year. At some point players are tired and at some point the players will slack.

Now we don’t have load management, the closest thing is extra playoff skill guys. I think this is overblown, I don’t think he’s lost this team but even if he has and they manage to fumble the bag and lose to Toronto (lol) he’s not getting fired unless they get 4-0 destroyed.

But my god could you imagine his phone if he was a free agent, could even be a Barry Trotz hire.

  2. Tampa had 6th game in 8 days. Carolina had 4th in same stretch. Probably gives some edge to the Canes on that one

  3. SDPN needs to start separating their game over channels so subscribers stop getting their inbox filled with game over pods we didn't initially subscribe to watch

  4. These are grown men, what's up with coaches this year, at least a few, benching your best players is humiliating for these guys, personally I'd have a problem if I were in their shoes, it's a bush league tactic, basically telling his best players he doesn't believe in them, he thinks their lazy, Berube in st Louis now this guy. How about moving some coaches, it seems like they take no responsibility, coaches are supposed to be the leader, have your backs, not throw you under the bus.
