I did think that it was very thoughtful of Kane to take note of the fact that the Rangers played a bunch of games short to make him fit in and to mention that in his introductory press conference.

for those that don’t know, Kane and Carpenter played with each other for several years in Chicago. Important context. Also, as a hawks fan, I remember carpenter being a really good 4th line grinder. I was surprised to learn he got sent down.
