  1. Wallstedt is better. Even after hearing your opening talk. Lol

And I wholeheartedly believe Stevey Y would have taken Wallstedt if he had the ability to turn back time.

  2. As An Oilers (+ Oil Kings Fan), I Loved Cossa Since He Was In EDM w The Oil Kings. He Is A Great Guy And A Great Player, Hopefully He Can Get His Mojo Back And Play In The NHL Soon

  3. With the walleye currently on a 13 game win streak Cossa and Lethemon are killing it as our tandem and Cossa played on his head against wheeling on Sunday glad Cossa is getting more attention

  4. I'm just hoping they both have fantastic careers. It's hard to say how either will do since they are both so young, but time will tell. We do have to remember that Cossa had a huge amount of pressure on him from the fan base and others due to being taken before Wallstedt. Goaltending is a lot of mental, hence why on average goaltenders don't reach their peak till the mid 20's at the earliest. This is due to the frontal lobe of the brain (that is the main factor in decision making) doesn't fully develop till around age 25. So maybe we should be pumping the brakes on who is better and who isn't and just wait and see once they both make it to the NHL and have established themselves (or not since this isn't a guarantee). This is, also, the case for defense which is insane due to quite a few you defenders showing so much skill this early in their careers. It blows my mind on how their going to be at their peak.

  5. he's playing in the echl for god's sake 🤣🤣🤣

wallstedt is better and always will be, cossa is an over hyped bum lol

  6. Cossa's stats are a little misleading I guess because in the first half of the year the walleye were not nearly as good of a team as they are now a lot of fans were questioning if they'd even make the playoffs there defense was pretty bad cossa kept them in a lot of games they made a couple trades signed some players got some players back from the ahl etc. now it feels like they can't lose if cossa had this team in front of him all year his stats would probably be pretty godly. He has a below 900 save percentage most of the year and that's rising quickly.

  7. I still would have preferred Wallstedt. He's not a guy whos ever going to win a Vezina, he simply lacks the top end talent, but he is ice cold, incredibly consistent, and will be ready for NHL duty in a year or two. He will be a starter, and probably a top 10 netminder for many years. Cossa is bigger, more athletic, has better instincts, and has all the tools to be a generational goaltender. However goaltending is also mental game, and he is very raw and inexperienced.
