Zito didn’t mess anything up; in case you forgot we didn’t win anything last year other than a President trophy no one cares about. We were too finesse and not tough enough. We were crushed by Tampa. We got Tkachuk who has been lights out. Zito is a leader and I love that he is working his plan. Let’s see where it goes. Our salary cap has tied his hands but he still has put a talented as f**k team on ice. The new coach is honest and real. I loved Q too but he was too soft. Let’s see how the next two years plays out
Zito has been amazing for the panthers, I personally like the trade for Tkachuk and I think we should let Zito do what he does best and lead us to the playoffs
I think Zito is doing the right and the best thing for this team moving forward, yes this year has not been up to par with what we all hoped it would have been, but you look into the future; its honestly one of the best things he is doing for this team. Maurice, I also think, is moving in the proper steps for this team as well, it's not always going to click off the rip, and it can take a year for it to finally come together; I really do look forward to watching this team in the coming 2-3 years and see where they go.
Put all the chips in the middle last year and now we are capped out with no prospects and while Bob has had a bit of a resurgence his contract and age are brutal. As a lifelong Panthers fan since day 1, I’m not going anywhere but I’m also a realist and I don’t see any solutions…
Only the hubby trade was a win everything else has been a disaster he got rid of Bruno and brought in another coach. He traded away all of our top picks for rentals who didn't even resign with us scott darling was on a professional tryout for us and got cut but somehow is contract is on our books. We have no cap space and wouldn't have been able to make a trade even if we wanted to.
Paul Maurice is a completely unremarkable coach who has never won anything in his entire long career. He does not pull Florida as a coach and as a motivator for the players. As for Radko Gudes, we need to carefully test the ground, whether he wants to stay to play in Florida or not. If not, then it must be exchanged. Gudas is a completely ordinary defender. We need to trade Patrick Hornqvist and Bobrovsky somewhere, their contracts and their game are terrible!!!! They are pulling the team to the bottom with their contracts. We need a good goalkeeper!!! I think this season we will most likely not get into the playoffs, and it's sad.
